Most people don’t listen to jazz. Most people just don’t “get” jazz. (Their words.) That’s because jazz is LOVE. And when was the last time you heard that?
I’d like to be able to do this.
This is what’s been keeping me up nights.
Kelly Starrett (pictured above) is a total rock star and this 80 minute (skip to about six and a half minutes in) interview (also available as an audio podcast) blew my mind wide open. A few weeks later and it’s my hips and shoulders getting open while this guy has changed the way I look at my body.
Honestly, I don’t know who half of these people are. But my heart just bursts – BURSTS – every time I watch this video. (And I keep watching it.)

I don’t watch broadcast or cable TV, but I watched all of The Wire on DVD, and it was one of the most fulfilling interactions I’ve ever had with a piece of film-art.
So, I even I’m looking forward to this.
