I thought about writing a couple of times before; first at the Carnegie Deli, then at the MoMA, in the room with all those big Jackson Pollocks. I sat there for about 20 minutes while Acacia conitinued on her way. We got pretty tired, so we only paid real attention in a few areas, but it was free (special thanx to Target) so we didn’t feel bad. It was about the best free couple of hours we could have come up with today. So, it’s good all around.
We’re back in the Village, at the other location of Joe, the coffee shop we visited this morning. I’m still impressed. It’s great to sit down and relax, get away from the sensory assaults of midtown.
Yes, we saw SITI this morning. It was great, and odd, and so brief that it hardly seems we were there. Most of the company and their associates showed up, including Chuck Mee and Tina Landau. Rock.
We depart shortly for SohoRep and “Peninsula.” It’s just over an hour long, and after that we’re going to Milon Bangladesh for some fantastic (and cheap!) Indian food. Tonight we may see Lindsey Cloud, we’ll definitely be seeing Krista.
When we come out of the SohoRep show, the drawings should be done back in Cow-Town. We’re anxously awaiting the line-up. Should be a lot of fun.
